First a word about the name of the site: Christmas Finial. A Christmas finial is the ornament decorating the top of the Christmas tree. The design of the finial varies by country and culture. Many American Christmas trees are topped by a star. Others put a doll or an angel on the treetop. In Europe most trees are decorated by a glass ornament including one or more balls and a pointed end. The finials come in many colors and have various levels of decorations.
